The location info provided by users isn’t great either – there’s no indication of how close two people might be so unless they happen to live in the same city (or country!) there could be miles between them before they realise it. Plus, unlike other sites like Tinder where users have control over what information appears on their profile page here at BuddyGay there doesn’t seem any way hide personal details such as age or address etc., leaving members open to potential identity theft issues too…yikes!
As if things couldn’t get any worse when testing out this website I also encountered several fake accounts along my journey – something nobody wants while trying online dating right?!
